We recently had the pleasure of catering for an elegant disco themed birthday party and oh what a night it was! Kirsty and Martin decided on our mobile dining options and we created this mouth-watering menu for their celebrations:
Starters: Salmon & Crab Sushi Bite-sized Coronation Chicken Salad
Mains: Butter Chicken Curry served in a Roti with Basmati Rice Tempura Hake with Potato Strings & Dill Sauce Char Grilled Sirloin served with Potato Hash Brown and a Root Vegetable Mash
We had the great honour and pleasure of being part of the Annual Carnival held at Holy Rosary School. Aside from having our stand where we made sure that all guests were well fed, we also judged the various cooking competitions. The Junior MasterChef competition was such fun, we sure have some aspiring chefs in our midst. We also supplied the mystery box for the senior Battle of the Sexes cook-off between Holy Rosary School and St. Benedict's College and the Ocra made for some interesting ideas...
For the second year in a row, we had a privilege of catering for the Reddan House cocktail party. This is the pre-party held in the school hall before the actual matric dance. 400 people attended (Matrics with their families) and we served delicious canapés and non-alcoholic welcome drinks. The GR11 matric dance committee were our fantastic waiters for the evening and once again, it was a great success.
Held at St. Andrews School for Girls on 20th September 2014, we were privileged enough to host the Canapé and Wine tasting tent. Together with our fabulous partners at Boucheron Wines, we made sure this was a day to remember! Our Canapé and wine pairing menu included the following: Thai inspired half-shell mussel paired with a Boucheron Chardonnay, Langoustine Cocktail paired with a Kanu Giselle Method Cap Classique NV and Beef Carpaccio topped with Parmesan Shavings paired with Zen Master blended red wine.
We welcomed new friends when we hosted the year-end function for PlastiColors at The Glendower View Guest house. They enjoyed a delicious spit braai, which consisted of the following: whole lamb and chicken pieces on the spit, mediterranean salad with feta, olives and mozzarella, baby potatoes on the spit, creamed Spinach, baked Pumpkin with a honey glaze, berry cheesecake and a fresh fruit platter.
As part of a "thank you" to some of our clients, we hosted a networking breakfast at The Corporate Conference Centre on 3rd December 2014. We provided a continental breakfast, which included a delicious spread of cold meats & cheeses, yoghurt and fresh fruit compote glasses, breads, muffins, pastries and fresh fruit skewers.
This year we were honored enough to cater for two local schools who chose to have their breakfasts at The Corporate Conference Centre. The continental breakfast included delicious fresh smoked salmon with capers & cream cheese, cold meats & cheeses, yoghurt and fresh fruit compote glasses, breads, muffins, pastries and fresh fruit skewers.
